Census says he was born in Poland, naturalization record 2 Oct 1913 says he was born in Austria.
WW II draft registration says he was born in Ulanow, Poland.

1920 census says both Cazimir and his wife could read and write, doesn't say in what language. Rented their home. They both immigrated in 1906, and they were both naturalized in 1913. They were both born in Poland, parents of each both born in Pland, and their native tongue was Polish. Walter was a hatter in a hat factory. His wife wasn't employed. In 1920, he was 30, she was 25, and they had three children under 5, as well as a boarder named James R. Morgan, who was 47, and a painter/ decorator at Gorham Co. They lived in Norwalk Town, Fairfield County, Connecticut, which is says is "coextensive with Norwalk City". The address is not given on the census page.
In 1906 they were both children.
In the 1940 census he was still a hatter in a hat factory. They lived in the same house as in 1935, and owned the house. It says both parents had a 6th grade education, the daughter Helen, age 21, had a 4th grade education? and their 15 year old daughter had an 8th grade education. The older daughter was a machine operator in a hand bag factory. They lived on Morton Street.
Cazimir married Nellie Czajka, daughter of John Czajka and Josephine Fuk Czajka Konopka. (Nellie Czajka was born on 25 May 1893 in Poland and died on 5 May 1985 in Wilton, Fairfield, Connecticut.)
