- Marriage: Nathaniel Farrand
Well researched genealogy at http://www.genealogy.com/ftm/p/o/p/Sandra-Popiel/BOOK-0001/0003-0005.html#CHILD15 says he married Mary. Typically there is a discussion if several alternatives are available and she isn't sure. Possibly her sources didn't have Mary Cobb. None of her sources are specifically Farrand family research, more geographical sources.
From Families of Early Milford, Connecticut. Jacquelyn L Ricker. Google books.
David Cobb died 1743 (see will), adm of his estate granted to Nathaniel Farrand Sr. He married Mary Farrand daughter of Nathaniel and Anna (Baldwin). Mary bapt 19 Jul 1741 (MC1) died 5 Sept 1820 (BP) married 22 Nov 1764 (MC2) Peter Hepburn.
MLR dated 18 May 1774 Peter Hepburn and his wife Mary convey to Nathan Clark a third part of the original right of Timothy Baldwin which descended to us by our mother Mary Cobb late of Milford.
It is authoritative, but it never says Mary Cobb married Nathaniel Farrand Sr. This book was a primary source of the above cited web site.
Mary married Nathaniel Farrand, son of Samuel Farrand and Hannah Wheeler. (Nathaniel Farrand was born 1711 or 1720 in Possibly Newark, New Jersey.)
